I made a Social Media Detox Week. I don’t use socail media for a week to make my life more productive.

I noticed important points of social media during this week. First of all, our concentration decreases because we always see and judge photos in an moment, so I noticed we tend to get distracted. I tried some books, but my concentration was just 15 minutes.

Secondly, we compare ourselves through social media. We know social media is just part of our lives, but photos are fun to look at. I unconsciously compared my life with follower’s lives, so I felt stress. When I left out social media, I felt relieved.

Thirdly, I thought using smartphone itself make you shut out everything because while using a radio and TV you can do other things, but with a smartphone, our eyes and ears are completely drawn into smartphones.

I will sometimes make a Social Media Detox Week. We can notice something important, when we leave out social media. I could find a new hobby and demerit’s of social media, so if you are interested in this please try.
